Tresa E. Ball, SPHR, founded HR Precision, Inc. in 2001 and focuses primarily on partnering with clients to provide HR solutions aimed at increasing effectiveness and minimizing risk. Tresa brings 25+ years of HR management experience to her practice, including trusted partnerships with her clients over 15+ years to strategically align HR practices with their businesses.
As an HR practitioner, Tresa has had direct responsibility for employee relations, EEO/AA, staffing, training, organizational effectiveness, line HR management, compensation, and benefits. Tresa has partnered strategically with executive management to ensure alignment between human resources and business strategies, directed HR organizations for both corporate and remote locations, and managed a team of up to 100 individuals.
Prior to founding HR Precision, Tresa provided significant contributions through the various business stages in a high-tech environment at Micron Electronics, Inc. Her roles included management consultant, various HR management positions, and Area Vice President of Human Resources. Tresa developed and adapted a human resource organization throughout the changing needs of the company’s life cycle, including the stages of significant growth, downsizing, and mergers and acquisition.
Tresa is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the HR Certification Institute as well as SHRM-SCP, and received her BS in Business/Management. The Human Resource Association of Treasure Valley recognized Tresa as the HR Professional of the Year in 2005. She also received the Idaho Business Review’s “Achieved Under 40” Award as well as the Idaho Business Review’s “Women of the Year” Award in 2011. Tresa is an active member and Past President of the Human Resource Association of Treasure Valley, and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. She is also a past president and board member of The Arc, Inc.
