Tresa E. Ball, President & Consultant

Tresa founded HR Precision, Inc. in 2001 and focuses primarily on partnering with clients to provide HR solutions aimed at increasing effectiveness and decreasing risk. Tresa brings 25+ years of HR management experience to her practice, including trusted partnerships with her clients for 15+ years.  Clients value Tresa as a trusted advisor and partner with organizational boards of directors and executive teams.  She has the ability to partner on business strategy, align HR strategy and practices to fit organizational needs, and provide guidance for complex employment-related situations.

As an HR practitioner, Tresa has had direct responsibility for employee relations, HR business partners, EEO/AA, staffing, training, organizational effectiveness, and compensation. Tresa developed and adapted a human resource organization throughout the changing needs of the company’s life cycle, including the stages of significant growth, downsizing, and mergers and acquisition.  Prior to founding HR Precision, Tresa provided significant contributions throughout business stages in a high-tech environment at Micron Electronics, Inc. Her roles included various HR management positions and Area Vice President of Human Resources.

Tresa is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the HR Certification Institute as well as SHRM-SCP, and received her BS in Business/Management. The Human Resource Association of Treasure Valley recognized Tresa as the HR Professional of the Year in 2005. She also received the Idaho Business Review’s “Achieved Under 40” Award as well as the Idaho Business Review’s “Women of the Year” Award in 2011. Tresa is a past president of the Human Resource Association of Treasure Valley, and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. She is also a past president and board member of The Arc, Inc.
