Tresa E. Ball, SPHR, is the founder and President of HR Precision. She partners with businesses to provide HR solutions aimed at increasing effectiveness and minimizing risk. Tresa brings over 16 years of HR management experience to her practice, including direct responsibility for employee relations, EEO/AA, staffing, training, organizational development, line HR management, HRIS, and compensation/benefits. Tresa has partnered strategically with executive management to ensure alignment between human resources and business strategies, directed a human resources organization for both corporate and remote locations, and managed a staff of up to 100 individuals.
Prior to founding HR Precision, Tresa provided significant contributions through the various business stages in a high-tech environment at Micron Electronics, Inc. Her roles included management consultant, various HR management positions, and area Vice President of Human Resources. Tresa developed and adapted a human resource organization throughout the changing needs of the company's life cycle, including the stages of significant growth, downsizing, and mergers and acquisition.
Tresa is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the HR Certification Institute, and received her BS in Business/Management from the University of Phoenix. The Human Resource Association of Treasure Valley recognized Tresa as the HR Professional of the Year in 2005. She also received the Idaho Business Review's 2003 "Achieved Under 40" Award. Tresa is an active member and Past President of the Human Resource Association of Treasure Valley, and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
